Rod Control Arm

The Rod control steering system is used in most go carts that don’t require Power steering. The steering doesn’t require much it is one bar attached to the front wheels and the steering wheel column is attached with an off set in the center of the rod.

Gear Control Arm

The gear control steering system is used when the user might need assistance in the steering. This type of steering reduces the strength required to turn the wheels. It has a cross bar attached to both wheels and then instead of an offset there is two gears a bigger one on the bar and a smaller one on the column.

Power Steering

Power steering is for difficult terrain like mountainous or rocky area. It is also used for ease of use and better maneuverability. Power steering has a pump that is attached to the motor and could cut engine power.
